Liberty Arts Classes

Bronze Pour Date Announced

Common Bronze Pour Date for all classes: Tuesday, November 4, 6pm. Come by and watch molten metal after you vote!

November Classes are forming

Your instructor, Mike, and his helpers had their hands full with a group of people with so much enthusiasm and energy to make some art and (learn) a little knowledge of the process. Mike made time for everyone especially me due to my limited ability... I plan to use Liberty Arts in additional projects and would give my endorsement to your program whenever I could. Thanks again for helping me explore another part of the vast world of art.” - Artist, Roger Person

This a prerequisite course for beginners before advancing to Intermediate Bronze Casting Classes or taking advantage of Open Studio Hours.

Casting Facility Safety will also be discussed. Students will work sculpt directly in wax or bring a wax for casting, learn spruing and venting, and prepare resin-bonded sand molds in this class. Participants will have the opportunity to cast a bronze at the end of the class. (Wax and other materials will be provided, but cost for bronze is not included in the class fee. There will be an additional charge for bronze based on the weight of the final piece and market rates).
