Liberty Arts — Services for Artists
Liberty Arts provides facilities and services to artists of all skill levels. Artists may use the studio and casting facility on a fee-for-use basis, or they may arrange to have their work cast and finished by qualified sculptors and technicians working with Liberty Arts. One-on-one instruction is also available at $65 per hour in addition to studio fee.
Studio Fees for a 4-hour session are $35.00. Studio fee discount may be provided for groups working at the same time.
There are additional fees for use of equipment and supplies. Fees are outlined below:
- Mig/Tig Welder - $40.00 for 4 hour period. Wire not included.
- Sand + Chemicals for making sand molds - $13.50 per 50 lbs.
- Sand Muller - to mix sand and chemicals - $5.00 per hour
- Consumables (grind wheels, etc.) - at cost or bring your own
- Furnace Fees - Small Furnace (holds up to 40 lbs. of metal) - $10.00 per hour
- Furnace Fees - Large Furnace (holds up to 200 lbs. of metal) - $25.00 per hour
- Burnout Kiln - to burn wax out of molds - $3.00 per hour
- Reclaimed Clay - plasticine, oil-based (if needed) - $2.00 lb.
- Wax (if needed) - $3.50 lb.
- Silica Bronze - Due to flucuations in metal commodities, please call or email for current price quote.
- Aluminum - Due to flucuations in metal commodities, please call or email for current price quote.
